Over the past couple of years I have been experimenting with the digital side within art and design using a wide variety of methods and techniques, exploring stop motion and computer software to create animation videos. I have also been experimenting with creating sound to go alongside my pieces as well as collaborating with musicians. 3d modelling has become one of the main focuses in my practice recently.

Working with classical composer Peter-Byron Smith, to create a video to go alongside a piece of his music and his wife's poetry.
We’ve not had enough time to explore the paths, to follow the streams, to find our way.
We have so many places to see, people to meet, songs to sing.
So much music to make.
Life’s roads are never straight, never clear well-defined tracks.
Often they misdirect us, we loose our way and forget our destination.
So much music to make.
Forget past detours and misguided diversions.
We have so much music to make.
Original music: What goes around comes around by Peter Byron-Smith

A short video I’ve created using facial tracking and various plugins within Adobe After Effects. I wanted to reflect on how Artificial Intelligence works and the effects it could have on humans as it uses our data to form its own mind. For the audio, I played and recorded my Tongue drum layering it with voice recordings of myself talking about AI and what it is.
The skills I have in adobe software such as After Effects and Illustrator, have enabled me to explore the digital side of abstract image creating. These pieces have been influenced by my interest of Artificial Intelligence as I wanted to explore the use of the computer as a tool to create randomised compositions that questions the ability of the computer being able to mix random elements.
Working collaboratively with Echo Babylon to create a piece for their song ‘I Am’. I have created a projection mapped performance music video using animation and motion graphics that I have made for a project based on Artificial Intelligence, reflecting on the impact it could have on our future roles as humans.
